Fixed the toaster
Dear diary,
Fixed the toaster. Well. Fixed is strong. It toasts now, on one side, if you hold the lever down, but I did that with my hands and a spoon and I feel like I could rebuild a city.
Looked up what the little electromagnet does. It is the thing that holds the lever down. Mine does not hold the lever down. I am the electromagnet now.
Told Sam about the toaster. Sam asked why I didn't buy a new toaster. I explained about the landfill and the right to repair and the spoon. Sam has gone to bed.
Found a video of a man taking apart a kettle. Watched it twice. Did not take apart the kettle. Growth.
The toast was fine, by the way. One side. Artisanal.
